After all these are fun, easy jobs that pay $18 and up per hour, so of course it'll be gone fast!
This industry is a first come first serve basis. Well, first of the best come, first of the best serve basis. By that I mean that those with a bit more experience, a good resume, and a good cover letter will be hired first. This is why I emphasize how important it is to know how to get these jobs and keep getting them so you can be paid the high paid ones over and over again. The book goes into detail as to how you can get these jobs. So make sure you get "The Secret High Paying Fun Jobs for Students and Teens: Travel, Meet New People, Get Tons of Freebies".
When I first entered this industry, I thought I could take my time and send in my resume and cover letter thinking it was like a regular job where the hiring managers take their time in sorting out the right personnel for the job. Oh no, no, no, no.
The hiring managers do not have a lot of time sorting through all the applicants as they have other projects that they are in charge of and having to find staff for those projects. So they are in a hurry to book sometimes far in advance before the event happens so they can work on staffing the other projects.
These hiring managers or booking managers will look for the amount of experience, the right keywords that fit the criteria asked by the Brand/Company, and they will pick the first ones who send in their application. This is why it's imperative you don't dilly dally and apply right away.
STEPS TO MAKE SURE YOU ARE ONE OF THE FIRST ONES HIRED/BOOKED:
1. Read "The Secret High Paying Fun Jobs for Students and Teens: Travel, Meet New People, Get Tons of Freebies" as it details all that you need to do in order to secure these jobs: the right resumes and cover letters, the right answers to interview questions, and all the do's and don't's that are necessary in being on every company's "GOOD LIST" to make sure you are booked every single time.
2. Look at the job postings every single time: a) from the list I gave in the book b) on this blog High Paying Youth Jobs 3) email sent to you from some of the companies you register with (also given in the book)
3. Have a copy of your resume, cover letter, photos, and the usual signed documents handy in your phone so you could apply to these jobs right away.
Good apps to have for these needed tools are: Docusign, Genius Scan, and Eco Sign. Or other apps that you may deem suitable for yourself.
